1. The service
BrainSwitchs is a workspace with canvases, pages, databases, sheets, a focus timer and related tools. We keep improving it, so features may be added, changed or removed over time. The Logical and Creative modes, brain visuals and focus tones are productivity aids and metaphors. They are not medical, psychological or neuroscientific services.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use BrainSwitchs. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
Give accurate information, and tell us at sahil@infosized.co if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Your content
You own everything you create or upload in BrainSwitchs. We claim no ownership over it.
To run the service, you give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide BrainSwitchs to you and to the people you choose to share with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups that are removed on their normal schedule.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use and share it. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use BrainSwitchs to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
- store or share content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, or that exploits or harms minors;
- upload malware or try to get into accounts, systems or data that aren't yours;
- overload, disrupt, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits or security;
- send spam or misuse the sharing and link-preview features.
6. Our rights
BrainSwitchs, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms don't give you any rights to our brand. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
BrainSwitchs relies on other services, including Google for sign-in, Supabase for data storage and Vercel for hosting, and lets you link or embed content from other websites. We aren't responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
8. Fees
BrainSwitchs is currently offered without charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and terms clearly before you pay, and nothing you already use will be charged without your agreement.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using BrainSwitchs at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing sahil@infosized.co. Export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your content.
10. Disclaimers
BrainSwitchs is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that content will never be lost, so keep your own backups of important work. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim related to BrainSwitchs is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using BrainSwitchs after that, you accept the new terms.
13. General
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about BrainSwitchs.
